UPDATE: This week has been such an encouraging week with so many improvements seen in Hudson:
Hudson looking cute in his fox hat. 3/30/16
+ He's been able to eat breastmilk for 1 week now at 7mL every 3 hours
+ He is off the dopamine (blood pressure medication) for 24 hours now + He is starting to have urine in his diaper. Even though it's a small amount it is no longer bloody + He is pooping good + He got his breathing tube taken out, a high flow nasal cannula put in, and today a low flow nasal cannula put in. Tomorrow he should have none! + He is moving more and more each day as well as opening his eyes more and longer each day too. + Dialysis is going really well as he continues to lose extra fluid in his body and his catheter site does not appear to be leaking + Today he weighs 7 lbs. 5 oz (about 1 lb of extra fluid still in him as they would like him to be closer to his birth weight of 6 lbs. 4 oz) + The doctors are amazed at how far he has come this week compared to last week as the MRI he had says one thing but Hudson's movements show another and this is so encouraging to us.
This is my FAVORITE picture of Hudson. Sweet boy looking right at the camera! 3/30/16 Oh and he's on the high flow nasal cannula.
We are so thankful for all your prayers as we can truly see God moving and continuing to amaze us through Hudson. The Lord has used Hudson to grow us in our faith and we are in awe of His work.
This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. -Psalm 118:23-24
