Summary

Hudson Ryle Schrank was born on 3/13/2016 via emergency c-section due to a full placental abruption. He was trying to take breaths when he was born but they helped him out with compressions, an air bag and soon intubation shortly after birth.
He had very low oxygen, blood pressure, and blood due to the abruption. After 48 hours his blood pressure was regulated and his breathing was above the vent but the breathing tube will remain in. While all of his organs took a hit from the lack of blood and oxygen at birth his kidneys, liver, and intestines seemed to take the blunt of it. His brain also showed pockets of blood or bruising and swelling on both sides of his brain after an MRI. His kidneys are of utmost concern as he is producing no urine and not responding to any of the kidney diuretics. There is lots of talk of possible kidney dialysis but we still have time as none of his levels are showing us he is in a danger zone of his kidneys not working. Hudson was born at Community North but transferred to Riley on 3/19/2016. At birth he weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.
