2016 Hudson Year Review

2016 has been quite a rollercoaster. It started with us anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new bundle of joy but then only a couple of months later was the early and scary arrival of our sweet sweet boy.
Then a whirlwind of 48 days in the NICU, 6 total surgeries, dialysis, g-tube, nursing care, insurance, lots of help from family, friends, church, AHG troop, and co-workers.....Bryan and I switching up our works schedules, then we added in moving....WOW! It was a LOT to take in this year. SO many different emotions...so many trials yet even more triumphs. God is so good! And here we are at the end of 2016 settled in our new home, healthy, and all together with each other.

If I had to pick one word to sum up 2016 I would pick THANKFUL. So very thankful to have Hudson here with us today, for all the help we've been blessed with over the year, for all of you following us on this crazy kidney journey, and for all the prayers and support. Most importantly, we are thankful for the trust we have in Jesus that he will fulfill his purpose not only for Hudson's life but for our lives too. #Psalm138verse8 That the biggest lesson we've learned this year is that "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Psalm 73:26.
We look forward to 2017 with continued hope and prayers for complete healing of Hudson's kidneys.
Happy New Year to you all!  #TeamHudson
